Tremendous covers 100% of cost to join an Aetna PPO 1000 Plan. Employees can upgrade their plan or add dependents via a pre-tax deduction. (More plans, with different deductibles and co-insurance levels, may be available depending on your state of residence.)

Tremendous also covers 100% of the cost to join a Guardian Dental PPO 1500 Dental plan, and 100% of cost for a Guardian Vision plan.

Important Note: Because we are on a PEO, new insurance enrollment will start on the 1st of the month following your start date.

🌴 Vacation policy

You are expected to take vacation. Creative work requires regular rest and we want to make sure you get it when you need it. No need to budget or accrue. A good rule of thumb is 15 days plus all standard holidays but we don't track your time off.

We are here to make it easy for you to work from home. You have a $750 stipend for anything you need to help get the perfect home office set up.

For other tools and professional development opportunities, we are in your corner. This includes books, online courses, productivity tools, etc. If it helps you do your job and it's under $200 per year, just buy it with a company card, no questions asked.

🍼 Parental leave

Tremendous offers 12 weeks of paid parental leave, plus 4 additional weeks for a birthing parent. This benefit is available to anyone who has worked at the company for at least 6 months.

If your state/country offers a paid family leave program, Tremendous will pay the difference between your full salary and the benefits offered by the program. If a birthing parent is covered by the company’s Short-Term Disability policy, Tremendous will pay the difference between your full salary and the benefits paid out by the policy.

If you need help applying to either of these programs in the US, you can reach out to Rippling support (our PEO) or @Ben Kubic , and they should be able to help you access the forms needed to receive benefits.

Talk to your manager if you’d like to split up your parental leave; this option may not be available for every role. A long-term absence often requires ramping others up (either internally or externally) to backfill the position, and doing that multiple times over the course of a year can be challenging for a company of our size.

If you have been here less than 6 months, reach out to your manager to discuss options.

For Commissioned Employees

  • Leave compensation: The person on leave will receive the greater of either the average of their last two quarters' On Target Commission (OTC) or the OTC they would earn from their existing clients via our standard formula
  • Return Ramp: Returning employees will get a 25% quota relief for the quarter they return

Note: US employees only

You will be enrolled into a Guideline 401K plan. The automatic pre-tax deduction is set at 3% but you can modify that at any time. You can use their plan portal to change your deductions from pre to post tax or change the total contribution amount at any time.
